A complete copper-alloy Roman vessel mount dating to the 2nd-3rd Century. It is broadly rectangular and roughly semi-circular in cross section. The mount depicts a female head with stylised features,with a headdress or helmet. At the base of the face there is drapery decorated with incised grooves. The face is fairly worn with oval eyes, moulded nose and mouth. The headdress terminates in a circular loop which would have allowed the handle to be attached to the vessel at a 45 degree angle. A Medieval cast copper-alloy mount, possibly from a belt, depicting a lombardic letter, either an 'E' or 'M', dating c. AD 1200-1500. Flat rectangular-sectioned plate. The arms of the letter are barred. At either end of the central arm on the reverse is a circular recession, probably where an attachment rivet was connected. The entire object is worn with a mottled mid and light green patina.
The mount measures 14.7mm long, 15.8mm wide, 1.3mm thick and weighs 0.89 grams.

An incomplete cruciform mount of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1500).
The mount is cruciform in shape, with an incomplete rectangular attachment lug at the reverse. The front is flat. with lozenge shaped terminals.
It has a length of 19.6 mm, it is 19.6 mm wide and 5.7 mm thick. It weighs 1.81 g.
The mount is a mid green colour, with an even surface patina.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy mount dating to circa AD 100-300. The lower half is crescentic (or pelta) with inverted rounded knops on each terminal, leading to a break. The reverse is concave with a copper allloy rivet projecting from the lower elements of the mount.

This mount is heart shaped with a single piercing central rivet, which terminates in an old break. The mount is heavily worn. The reverse is undecorated, with a central annulet where an attachment spur or loop would have attached.

A complete Post Medieval copper alloy belt fitting, c.AD 1500-1700.
The mount consists of two sub-oval terminals which are wider at their apexes rather than the region where they join. They are slightly domed in cross section. These are joined by their narrow end either side of a small central collar giving the impression of an elongated 'bow tie'. The mount is circular and domed, although the obverse so heavily worn that any decorations have been obscured. On the reverse the mount is concave and presents two attachment hooks positioned at opposing sides of the object's edge. The mount has a light brown and green patina.

This mount is roughly shaped as an arrow. The mount is of composite form, with an acorn shaped tip at the narrow end of the triangular plate and a rounded lobe at the opposite end. The obverse is too worn to identify any decoration. The reverse is flat with a pair of integrally cast hooked fixing spikes.

This is a mount, possibly for a strap, belt, or item of furniture, made from a single domed plate that is shaped as a double-pointed oval. There is no visible decoration on the outer, convex face. The inner, concave face has a central, circular projection, whwere it would have attached to the larger object.
