Broken figurative mount, slightly convex, once possible fleur-de-lys shaped with rounded edges, two circular holes and one integral rivet. Worn with some surface corrosion. Ref. Late Mesolithic/ Neolithic worked and notched flake. The amount of work suggests a tool of some kind, possibly a short borer? It measures 59.6x28.5x8mm and weighs 14.76g. The entire right dorsal edge has abrupt working, up to the proximal end which has a slight point extending. The upper left dorsal edge has a wide notch, semi-abruptly tooled. The lower left dorsal edge has a little light low working. the lower left ventral edge has additional low working, and semi abrupt working on the upper right edge behind the notch. The flint is light grey in colour with c.20% light patination.

Lead seal matrix, incomplete, probably Medieval. Presumably originally rectangular and divided by a plain line into two square panels. Roughly two thirds of one panel is missing, but the remaining panel bears an incuse diagonal quatrefoil made up of four converging pointed ovals - just two survive in the broken panel. At the unbroken end is a flat projection, presumably a handle, set at right angles to the matrix, plain and with rounded terminal - this is now damaged and bent to one side. A Medieval or early Post Medieval cast lead die. The die is a sub-cuboid. The numbers are marked by conical cells. The ‘1’ face has a conical cell in the centre and has fine grooves radiating from the centre as decoration. The ‘2’ face is decorated with an oblique linear groove joining the conicals. There is not a face with ‘3’ dots. There are two ‘4’ faces, each has a conical in each corner and a linear groove forming a border at the edges, joining each conical. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman bracelet. The bracelet is a distorted pennannular in plan with one terminal forming a small out-turned hook, the other terminal is a broken edge. This break is not recent. In profile the bracelet is an elongated rectangle, which is decorated on the exterior with multiple motifs. These motifs consist of a block of transverse grooves, a block with a horizontal linear groove with a row of ring and dot designs either side. Six sherds of samian ware pottery of early Roman date. Three are body sherds and three are rim sherds. Two of the rim sherds have external beads and one is plain. All the sherds are oxidised throughout with shiny brownish-orange slips. The fabric contains moderate very small limestone pieces and occasional voids, so the vessels were probably produced at one of the South Gaulish kilns. Total weight: 44g
