A cast copper alloy fragment, probably part of a late Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) cast copper-alloy cheek piece from a harness fitting dating to the 11th century AD (cf. Williams (2007) Type 1). The fragment comprises a curled loop with teardrop shaped aperture at the centre, part of a second aperture on one side (which the object has broken across) and four or more incomplete decorative projections running around the exterior edge. One side of the fragment has crudely incised geometric decoration in the form of two bands, possible devolved interlace or zoomorphic forms.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy enamelled disc brooch of moulded type, dating to the 2nd century AD. The brooch has three concentric ridges of retained metal, with the spaces between possibly once infilled with enamel, although no trace now remains. The circular recessed boss is now empty but may once have held either enamel or a glass setting. The reverse has a hinge lug holding a copper alloy hinge on an iron spindle and catchplate. The brooch has been bent across the mid line and the pin is missing.
