A complete lead seal matrix dating to the medieval period (c.AD 1200-1300). The matrix is a circular disc with an integral suspension loop positioned at the top edge of the reverse. The die face has incised details that include an inscription around the outer edge. At the centre of the disc is a decorative central pellet and six narrow point petals. Copper alloy harness pendant, as kindly identified by the finder. Cast lozengiform plate with an oval top loop at right angles to its display plane. The surface is crazed and the object slightly curled overall, perhaps both effects arising from the exposure of the object to intense heat. A fragment of a copper-alloy Ansate brooch dating to 700-1000AD.  All that remains is a flattened circular terminal with incised circular border that contains a cross-shaped motif. It is encrusted with iron corrosion, and to the reverse has the remains of an iron pin. A similar, more complete, example can be seen on PAS, see SF-5260B8. This ansate brooch is of Middle Anglo-Saxon date with close parallels noted from Ipswich (West, 1998: nos. 98.3-4).  Length: 14.76mm Width:13.30mm Weight: 2.28g

An incomplete and warped copper alloy Buckle with integral plate probably a Spur Buckle dating to the Medieval period c. AD 1250 - 1400. The loop and pin are missing from the frame. The buckle would have had an oval loop which is now missing barring one bent oval cross sectioned arm.
