A copper alloy probable buckle fragment of Post Medieval date, c. AD 1550 - 1650. The object is only a fragment and consists of the centre part of the outer edge frame. It is pointed oval in cross section. It is decorated with a sub-triangular moulding, containing a raised lozenge shape and two annulets. An incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup terminal of late Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon/Anglo-Scandinavian) date. The terminal has a hollow back that is semi-cylindrical in form and missing part of its attachment end due to old breaks. This contains traces of a white substance, probably used to solder the terminal to the now missing stirrup and is closed at the base. An incomplete copper alloy finger ring fragment of Roman date (c. AD 43 - 300). The bezel is oval and has tapering shoulders that end at worn breaks. The hoop is incomplete. The bezel has a recessed circular cell to the upper surface and contains two raised circular pellets at either side of the cell. Any enamel in the recessed cell has been lost. An incomplete looped transitional palstave axehead dating to the Middle-Late Bronze Age dating from about 1250 - 950BC. The palstave is a transitional type with a deeply undercut stop. All that remains is the centre of the axehead, with the terminals of the blade and butt missing. It is encrusted with corrosion.  It has a thin butt with flanges that expand from the extant areas of the butt to the stop in a triangular shape. The tallest part of the flange is at the stop. A copper alloy four way strap distributor of Medieval date (c. AD 1100-1300).  The distributor is a frame that is square externally (with sightly convex edges) and has a quatrefoil perforation internally. On the front, at each corner, there is a thickened square boss. Between the bosses are four constrictions at the centre of each side, for the missing attachment loop strap ends. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
