An incomplete cast copper-alloy Iron Age potin attributed to the Nervii of Belgium and Northeastern France, dating c. 60-40 BC. Variant of Rudd's 'Branches' type potin (ABC no. 73), c.f also Delestree 629 (though the horse faces the opposite direction). An identical potin has been recorded on the PAS database, see BERK-9A8897.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Iron Age potin attributed to the Nervii (Belgium / northeastern France), dating to the period c.60-40 BC, variant of the 'branches' type. The obverse of the potin depicts a central equal-armed cross formed of pellets with two sets of wavy lines (branches) in each quarter of the cross. Smaller pellets are seen around the external circumference of the design.The reverse depicts a long-legged horse left. Four large annulets are seen to the right of the horse's head, while another is located over one of the hind legs.
