A gold quarter stater struck for the Ambiani of Northern France, dating c. 125-100 BC. Rudd's 'Gallo-Belgic broad flan' type. Obverse: wreathed bust left. Reverse: stylised horse prancing left, flower between legs, pelleted symbols above head. As ABC p. 29, no. 31. This coin appears to be the first of its exact type recorded on the PAS database.
