A fragment of post Medieval whiteware, comprising the base of a globular mug (cf. Haslam's (1975) Type 1). The pedestal base is 66mm in diameter. The fabric is buff coloured and glazed with a thick glossy brown glaze on the inside and out, which has darker brown speckles.

A fragment of post Medieval whiteware, comprising the base and two legs from a tripod pipkin, 57.4mm in length. Most likely a kiln waster. The fabric is sand tempered and buff coloured to grey in colour with an over-fired and vitrified green (copper) glaze on the upper / inner surface. The exterior surface has occasional glaze spots but appears unfinished. The fabric has been cracked by excessive heat.

An incomplete post medieval (16th to 17th century) brick, most likely from the fabric of a pottery kiln. The brick is heavily glazed with a copper-rich green vitreous glaze which is uneven with partially melted sandy inclusions and a large (8.6mm) sub angular calcined inclusion on one side. Around and beneath the glaze the surface of the brick has been darkened by over-firing and burning.

A Post Medieval copper alloy Nuremburg jetton, issued by Conrad Lauffer (master AD 1636-1668). This is a Charles II (AD 1660-1685) example, dating to AD 1660-1668.
Obverse: laureate and draped bust right with legend; CAROLVS II D G MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX.
Reverse: Crowned Stuart shield of arms and legend; CONR.LAUFFERS.RECH.PFENING.COUNTERS.
The jetton has a central hole and there is an incomplete perforation towards the edge.

A post-medieval copper-alloy trade weight from the reign of Elizabeth I. The weight is circular with concentric groves contained within a raised rim on the upper surface. Also on the upper surface is the stamped verification mark of a crowned EL (for Elizabeth I) which dates date this weight to circa 1590-1603.
There reverse is pitted with corrosion but numerous diagonal fine marks are still visible.

A complete Post Medieval copper-alloy dress fastener dating to circa AD 1550-1600. It is a wire dress fastener comprised of a single piece of circular-sectioned wire bent over on itself to form a hook and two circular attachment loops. The surface has light green and mid brown patination.
It is consistent with Read 2008 Class A Type one with similar examples depicted in Read 2008: pg 155.

A complete copper alloy buckle dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1650-1720).
The buckle has a double loop, sub-annular (oval) frame. Through the centre is the complete, integral pin bar; the pin is missing. The frame is undecorated and has a dark bown patina.

An incomplete copper alloy buckle dating to the post mediveal period (c.aS 1660-1720).
The buckle is broadly sub-rectangular in form and is double looped and has a moulded frame with D-shaped section; the cross bar is separately attached and missing. The frame decoration is symmetrical; the long sides present moulded horizontal segments, three either side of a rounded centre. In place of corners are four large crescents. Between each crescent on the horizontal sides is a lozenge with a groove in the centre for the pin rest. The object has a smooth dark green patina…
