A brass mechanised and orignally sprung powder measure. This machined composite brass element fixed via a screw thread (now lost) to the mouth of a leather powder horn / flask. By depressing the sprung lever a series of shaped slides move allowing a single measure of black powder to be dispensed into the muzzle of a either a musket or rifle. The form of this measure is unusual and is likely to date from the period 1780-1860, being used as an alternative to paper cartridges. Incomplete copper alloy military badge (shoulder title) of modern date (probably WW1), from the King's Shropshire Light Infantry formed 1881. Moulded "PSHIRE" (originally Shropshire but broken) curved top and bottom, with one loop brazed to reverse. Surface is rough and casting appears regular. Colour is dull brown. An incomplete post-Medieval multi-pointed spur rowel (c. 1550-1750). Both faces are convex and each point tapers in thickness and width. The distances between the points differs around the rowel and the depth of the point is also variable. In total there five large points each marked with a central making the object resemble a leaf. The hole at the centre is circular and has a diameter of 2.88mm. The rowel is a mid brownish green colour, but the surface patina has been removed in one small patch. Seven sherds representing 84% of the base from a cremation urn / burial vessel - most probably of Early - Middle Bronze Age date (2200-1800 BC). The seven sherds vary in size, thickness and weight but all have been broken due to disturbance in the ground through ploughing having crisp fresh unweathered or abraded edges. A mottled mid grey coloured core rejuvination flake of later Mesolithic date. In form the flint is blade like with a crested shaped profile. Copper alloy Jetton of Hanns Krauwinckel II 1586-1635 of Nuremburg. On the obverse of the jetton is concentric positioning of three crowns and three fleur de lys positioned around a flower, the detail around the edge writes HANNS KRAUWINCKEL II VN VR the is unclear. On the reverse is a cross within an outline of an overlapping triangle (upside down) and triskelion in unison (this double lined), the detail is too eroded on the coin to read in entirety but ICHWHB can be made out. The Jetton measures: 24.47mm length, 21.62mm width, 0.46mm thick and weighs 0.9 grams.

A near complete axe head formed of a coarse grained igneous rock dating from the later Neolithic date (3000-2000 BC). The axe has been knapped and pecked into shape although the surface is heavily weathered. The rock from which it is made has a buff brown coloured patina.
