One spherical lead alloy shot / ball of probable post medieval or early modern date (1600-1800 AD). Due to the size and weight of the ball it is most likely to be from a grapeshot. The shot is spherical in shape with an even surface. It has no casting seams or casting sprues from the mould. There is no evidence of the shot having been fired. It is a light cream colour with abraded powdery patinated surface.
