A copper-alloy Medieval French jeton of Charles VI 1380 to 1422 The obverse shows a sheild of France (flat topped and pointed base), three fleurs de lis within, above is an annulet with single pellet either side. Obverse reads: (cross initial mark = X) AVE MARIA + CIACIA (or less likely GRACIA instead of CIACIA). Reverse shows triple stranded straight cross fleuretty in four arched tressure.
