An incomplete (broken) Medieval Silver penny of Edward I (AD1272-1307); Class 4d dating to AD 1286-1287. Mint: Uncertain. See: North(1991) Vol II, No.1026.  The coin is broken roughly in half, above the long cross at the centre. Inscription: EDWAR ANGL DN[S h]YB. Reverse: Long cross dividing a beaded circle with three pellets in each angle. Inscription: CIVI/TAS/LON/DON. The coin has a small portion of the edge missing to an old break.
