A worn pierced copper-alloy Roman nummus of the House of Constantine dating to c. AD 322-325. (Reece Period 16). SARMATIA DEVICTA reverse type depicting winged Victory advancing right, holding wreath and palm, spurning captive seated on ground right. Unclear mint.  Measurements: diameter 17.39mm, thickness 1.61mm, weight 1.85g. The coin is pierced at 1 0'clock on the obverse on the forehead of the Emperor.

A clipped or worn Roman nummus of Constantine I (306-337 AD), probably dating to 325-326 AD. Obv. Portrait of Constantine I facing right; CONSTAN-TINUS AUG. Rev. Gateway with wide open doors, four turrets, star above(?); VIRTU-S AUGG. Reece Period 16; mint mark probably Arles ([AR] horizontal crescent RL). The coin has been reused, possibly worn, with evidence of a circular drilled hole at the top, slightly off-centre. Cf. RIC VII, p265, No. 291.
