A complete copper alloy Seal Matrix of Medieval date (AD 1300-1400).  The object is composed of a hexagonally faceted handle, with a central circular perforation, which tapers before expanding to form a perforated loop with a collar. At the base the matrix widens to accommodate the circular die which is engraved with a central motif. There is a linear inner circular border separating the inscription from this motif, which depicts a lamb and a flag (the Agnus Dei or Lamb of God) the lamb is front facing right and a flag which is in the centre of the motif. A Roman cast lead vessel repair (pot mend). It has a large, irregularly oval shaped face on one side of the vessel which is approximately the same size as the sherd. A narrow stem runs through the sherd and then end in a a very large broadly circular expansion on the other face. There is a relatively small piece of the original pot attached to the mend. The pottery has a mid brownish grey fabric with common (c.20%) coarse -medium sand temper. One surface has a thin light green glaze still remaining although it has been chipped away near its edge. A copper alloy Medieval buckle pin, dating to circa AD 1250-1450. The pin is broadly rectangular in section. It has been formed from a single piece of copper alloy that has been folded over at the upper edge in order for it to fit around the buckle frame. The pin then widens after the fold until it narrows along the length to a rounded point. The pin has a transverse ridge before the fold.
