An incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy anthropomorphic buckle frame. The plate is openwork in the form of a stick figure, with stylised arms forming sub rectangular loops on either side of a slim body with bifurcating legs below, these ending in old breaks. The body and limbs are decorated with rocker arm zig zag decoration. The head is ovate and convex projecting out from the flat body and has crude features of eyes and mouth defined by deep incisions. From the top of the head projects a rounded attachment loop retaining a rivet for attachment to the strap.

It is escallop in shape, and therefore likely to be religious as a shell is a common badge of pilgrimage and have been found in late twelfth0centruy contexts in East Anglia (Ashley, 2002, p 26). There is evidence of gilding on the front of the pendant, and in the centre is a globular headed rivet. There is stamped decoration visible, depicting the scallops of the shell. A Post Medieval (16th century) copper alloy and iron knife cap. Tnife cap is sub-rectangular in plan with rounded corners and is oval in cross section. On each side face there is an incised X as decoration. At one terminal there is a slot within which there is an iron knife tang fragment. The surface of the knife cap is abraded and has a mid red-brown coloured surface. The stop is 13.4mm long, 11.7mm wide, 9.8mm thick and weighs 7.35 grams. A fragment of a copper-alloy purse frame of late medieval to post-medieval date. It consists of a strip of metal folded longitudinally along its centre to create a u-shape in cross-section culminating in a the remains of a right-angle terminal at one end and a worn break at the other. There are three small circular holes through one edge slightly further along. These would have held the fabric of the purse in place originally.
