An incomplete medieval cast copper alloy single loop buckle with its plate. The frame probably would have had a thickened and decorated front edge, however it has broken across both sides close to the bar which is recessed and offset and retains the plate which is wrapped around it. The plate is undecorated and tapers towards the rear end. A portion of the copper alloy pin is retained on the bar.

A complete medieval copper alloy composite strap end. Both plates and the spacer are retained; the plates are rectangular, tapering slightly to a rounded terminal with a small projection. Rivets are retained at the centre of the front and rear ends. There is no decoration. Circa 14th-15th century.

A pin from a medieval cast copper alloy disc-on-pin buckle pin of Redmayne's (2014) Type B. The disc is 11.4mm in diameter with a central recess which likely once held an inlay (see LIN-685A46). There is no decoration.

A copper alloy probable buckle fragment of Post Medieval date, c. AD 1550 - 1650.
The object is only a fragment and consists of the centre part of the outer edge frame. It is pointed oval in cross section. It is decorated with a sub-triangular moulding, containing a raised lozenge shape and two annulets. Either side of this moulding is a raised collar. The reverse is undecorated.
The buckle is green / grey in colour with an even surface patina.
Measurements: length 16.4mm, width 6.6mm, thickness 3.9mm, weight 1.2 grams.
