A fragment from a vessel, probably a jug or a small amphora of Roman date, circa Ad 43-410.
The fragment consists of a small section of rim and body that contains the remains of the handle. The remains of the handle have a width of 42.3 mm. The fabric is a cream colour with frequent inclusions between 1 to 2 mm in size. The fabric is abraded in the internal surface.
The fragment measures 63.2 mm in height, 61.1 mm in width, 19 mm in thickness and weighs 57.4 grams.

A rim sherd of a ceramic vessel of Roman date (c. AD 43-410) that consists of the rim and a small part of the body.
The sherd is roughly sub-trapezoidal in plan, tapering from 26.67mm wide near the top to 13.48mm wide near the bottom. The actual rim has a sub-triangular cross section and starts at 6.96mm thick just after the rounded edge of the rim and expands to 14.14mm thick near the bottom of the actual rim, before tapering quickly to 7.54mm thick for the body proper. A fragment of Medieval to Post Medieval cast copper-alloy cauldron dating from c.AD 1200 - 1700. The fragment is possibly part of a vessel foot. It is trapezoidal in profile with a slight bend and triangular in section, it is undecorated.

An incomplete copper alloy foot / leg from a copper alloy cooking vessel of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 - AD 1700).
The vessel fragment is sub triangular, with an oval cross section. It consists of a triangular body, with the edges tapering down to a blunt point. The internal surface is smooth. At the top of the leg, a rough surface is present, where it separated from the vessel base. The base of the foot is slightly abraded.
It measures 30.3 mm in length, 34.8 mm wide and 21.9 mm thick. It weighs 79.4 grams.

The object is a plug to mend a hole of a vessel wall. The object is composed of two irregular shaped plates with fragments of a reddish brown oxidised fabric retained within.

The fragment is part of the main body of the vessel. The exterior is decorated with three horizontal raised ribs and the interior is plain and undecorated.

A copper alloy handle lug from a chafing dish handle dating to the late medieval to early post medieval period (c. AD 1400-1600).
The lug is oval in plan and rectangular in cross-section with rounded corners. At one end is the stub of a circular rivet which would have attached to the vessel wall. The loop has a slightly off centre hole through it, drilled from each face, to hold the handle.File marks are visible on all faces of the object. It has a dark green / brown patina.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy vessel pot leg (Butler, Green & Payne Type A), probably from a cauldron, posnet or skillet of Medieval date, c. AD 1200 - 1600.
The leg is broadly trapezoidal in plan and cross-section. The upper surface is wider and flat and would have been attached to the pot, the leg then tapers down to a broken transverse break. At the right of the outer surface is a moulded vertical rib and to the side of this is a concave break along the length of the leg.

The fragment is broadly shield shaped in plan. The fragment has a slight curve in profile. The fragment has a broadened rim and then it tapers onto the body of the fragment. The outer face has teo vertical ribs. It is difficult to establish if this is deliberate decoration or where the patina has developed. The inner face is flat and smooth.
