A complete copper-alloy strap fitting or belt mount of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1700. The fitting comprises a flat D-sectioned plate with a bilobate terminal at one end and a pointed sub-triangular terminal at the other. The mid-section is waisted.  The reverse of the fitting is flat and undecorated with two integral attachment spikes, one at either end, with curing tips. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The fitting is 23.3mm long, 15.1mm wide, 6.2mm thick and weighs 1.5g. An incomplete copper-alloy strap fitting or mount of Post-Medieval date from around AD 1750 - 1900.  The mount is circular with a domed profile. The front of the mount is convex, with a central raised boss and a  double banded circumferential border.  The reverse is concave with two partial sub-rectangular projections (lugs, or integral rivets), one on each side. A copper alloy circular mount which is probably medieval in date about AD 1200 - 1340. It has a raised shield motif bearing three lions passant guardant, the coat of arms of England from about AD 1198 until 1340.  These are on a red enamel background in a square topped shield. The shield is topped by a fleur de lis in relief, and flanked by two elongated beasts, their heads facing each other at the top of the shield, and their tails dividing into three at the base, also in relief. An incomplete gilded copper-alloy mount of probable medieval date, c.AD 1200-1400. The mount comprises a rectangular strip of metal, broken at either end, and displaying a repaired fold at the centre. The upper surface is decorated with three longitudinal ridge and groove designs which retain gilding. The reverse is undecorated. A copper-alloy mount of modern date (c.AD 1850-1950). Pressed metal elongated sexfoil plate with lugs at its ends folded back. The stamped design comprises a central diamond with bifoliate projections from each point set against incised linear decoration. A perforated copper alloy possible bar mount of unknown date, Roman to Post medieval, AD 43 - 1900. It could also be a connecting rod or part of a larger object. It is a flat bar or copper alloy, rectangular in plan and in cross-section. It is not decorated. One end is a worn break. AT the other end, the bar is rounded and thereis a circular perforation of 2.7mm diameter. The hole has worn through on one side. The bar curves in profile near the broken end, which may be damage. A Medieval copper alloy bar mount, dating from AD 1350 -1400. The copper alloy mount has an oval shaped plan with an integral sub-oval knop at either end. Each knop has a rivet hole with the remains of a copper alloy rivet visible in one of these. Part of the copper alloy rove also survives. An incomplete corroded Medieval copper-alloy figurative Limoges style mount dating from AD 1150-1250. The mount depicts the head and body of a nimbate robed figure, probably a male saint.  The head is solid, three dimensional and oval in plan. A complete copper-alloy medieval bar mount dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1150 - 1450. The mount has two terminals and a solid central lobe. The body is oval, domed at the front face and concave on the reverse face. It has a smaller sub-circular domed terminal at each end, both with a copper-alloy rivet attached. A copper-alloy corroded mount dating from the Post-Medieval period, about AD 1500 - 1700. It is in the form of a narrow, pointed oval, convex at the front and concave on the reverse. In the centre of the back is the stub of a single broken integral rivet spike.  This may have been used as a belt fitting, or more likely as a furniture fitting. The mount is undecorated and has a green/brown patina. Measurements are; length 21.6mm, width 9.8mm, thickness 8.1mm and weight 1.94g.
