A complete cast lead object, possibly a weight. Date Unknown. Length 17.0mm, width 25.2mm and 19.8mm thick. 38.55g. (1.359 ounces). The weight is sub-conical in form and has a truncated apex. It has an off-centre longitudinal circular perforation which has a diameter of 5.5mm. The base is flat. The weight, which is crudely made, is in good condition. It has several old dents and scuffs.

An incomplete circular lead weight or spindle whorl with a central perforation. The spindle whorl is biconical in shape and has been highly decorated. The spindle tapers from the central perforation to the outer edge. Both faces of the spindle are decorated with raised linear designs which could be letters. The lead has gone a light greyish-white.
