A complete post medieval lead alloy shot probably from a flintlock military wall gun dating between 1700-1800 AD. The shot is sub-spherical, with a small flattened section possibly resulting from the inclusion of the shot in a multiple load. The shot has numerous linear divots and striations across its surface, possibly caused by gas erosion, an effect occurring at the instant of firing an unwadded projectile. A complete lead/lead alloy phallus of uncertain date. The object is in the form of a phallus and is naturalistically rendered with an erect shaft and a glans. The shaft is broadly sub-rectangular in plan with a broadly square cross-section with rounded corners and sides; the base end is domed. An incomplete lead steelyard weight probably of Medieval to Post Medieval date c. 1100-1700. It has a pear shaped form with a slightly flattened base and tapers to a rounded apex where there is the stub of an iron shank for attachment. The weight is covered in gouges and dents and has a creamy buff patina. An incomplete post medieval lead powder measure cap, measuring a charge of gunpowder dating to c.AD 1600-1700. The cap has been considerably squashed resulting in significant deformation. The sides flare gently outwards and upwards from the sub-oval base. The bowl is now compressed inwards on both sides, the rim bent into a slight hourglass figure. On side of the ball is flat and another has an indentation indicating that it has been fired. The ball is 16.45 mm diameter and weighs 22.52g. The mass suggests that it was used in a carbine.
