An incomplete cast copper-alloy annular brooch dating to the Early-Medieval period, c. AD 470-570. Leeds Type G. This early Anglo-Saxon brooch consists of only the frame which is circular in plan with a sub-rectangular section. The pin is missing. There is a pin constriction with a narrowed bar within the frame to accommodate the now lost pin. The top of the head is domed and a circumferential collar is present below the head. A circular-sectioned shaft extends from the collar, terminating in a worn break. The pin has a green patina. The loop is formed from a single piece of copper-alloy and is sub-circular in section with slight facets on the interior edges of the ring.
