An incomplete copper-alloy pin of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 700 - 900.
The pin comprises a spherical head and circular sectioned shaft. The head is decorated with sinuous spiralling grooves, a decorative type known informally as 'wrythen-headed'. The shaft extends from the base of the head and terminates in a worn break. A collar is present at the junction between the head and shaft.
The metal has a dark brown patina and survives in good condition. The pin is 31mm long, 9.5mm in diameter at the head and 1.8mm in diameter at the shaft, and weighs 3.3g.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 650 - 750.
The buckle is D-shaped with a bevelled outer edge, narrowed bar, and half-round pin recess. The upper surface is decorated with a series of ten (10) sub-rectangular cells of red, yellow and white enamel. The bar is flanked by three narrow transverse rectangular cells, the outer two bear yellow enamel, the centre one has white enamel.
A hinge loop projects from the outer flat edge of the frame, behind the bar. The remains of a second hinge loop are present at the opposite end of the bar. This is broken and worn.…

An incomplete copper-alloy plate brooch of probable Early-Medieval date, c.AD 850 – 1000.
The brooch is flat with a narrow D-shaped section and is in the form of a bird, possibly a cockerel, facing left.
Faint moulded lines decorate the upper surface denoting a hooked beak, small crest above the head, a pointed wing extending up and backwards from the shoulder of the bird and a thick curved tail from the back end. A small, rectangular projecting plate to the bottom of the brooch represents the feet of the bird.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle and plate of probable late Early-Medieval date, c.AD 800 - 1100.
The buckle is D-shaped with a narrowed and recessed bar and chunky outer frame. It is undecorated. A separately made plate is fitted around the bar by two narrowed integral strips with central slot for the pin. The plate is broadly rectangular with waisted sides and a decorative terminal. The upper surface is decorated with an indistinct moulded design. A rivet is present through the terminal. The pin no longer remains.

A silver Early-Medieval sceat (or proto-penny) of an anonymous ruler dating to the period c. AD 710-725. BMC Series N, type 41b. Twin figures with long crosses type. Obverse depicting two standing figures forward, long crosses at either side. Reverse depicting crouched animal, looking backwards, tail curved up over body and legs underneath; body outlined by pellets. Mint in SE England (not further defined).

The head of the pin is bi-conical with a narrow median band and sub-conical upper and lower hemispheres with no decoration evident. A small circumferential collar is present below the head. A circular-sectioned shaft extends from the collar, terminating in a worn break.
The metal has a green patina and is worn. The pin is 17.29mm long, 7.25mm in diameter at the head, 1.53mm in diameter at the shaft, and weighs 1.31g.

An incomplete pair of copper-alloy tweezers of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 400 - 700.
The tweezers comprise of a single piece of copper-alloy which would have been folded in half to create two parallel arms, although only one arm now remains complete. The remaining arm tapers gently from the fold, expanding into a wide triangular plate. The opposite arm is incomplete with only the narrowed area nearest the fold remaining. The plate forming the tweezers is bent out of shape. No decoration is visible on the plate.
