An incomplete probably Post Medieval to Modern lead pencil possibly for use with a slate, dating to c. AD1700 - 1900. It is circular or cylindrical in section, slightly distorted throughout its length, with an early break at one end and a point at the other. It is white-ish with a scatter of black where the surface has degraded.

An incomplete Medieval lead alloy flask shaped ampulla, dating to c AD1350 - 1530. There is an early break in the lead by the neck, leaving a crack and small hole, and the two suspension handles are largely missing. On the body of one face it shows six simple rays, or a saltire cross with a vertical line through the centre. The other face has hatching in the lower part of the round surmounted by a line of small pellets and a scene with stylised tree in the centre. The rest is confused.

A Post Medieval lead alloy knop from the lid of a tobacco jar dating to c. AD 1625-1800. The find is an oval octofoil with moulded petals around a central boss which has a lined border. This is mounted on a waisted stalk with rivet which fitted to the jar lid.

A complete possible Late Medieval faceted lead bead, possibly dating to c. AD 1350-1500. It was originally perhaps six sided sided but now slightly flattened and roughened and the facets unclear in places. Possibly a paternoster bead from an assertive rosary, though equally apt to use as a fishing line weight. However, the facets and piercing may suggest a bead.

An incomplete Roman to Medieval conical lead steelyard weight, dating to c AD 43- 1350. It appears to be pierced through its entire height with the stub of an iron attachment visible at the apex and also in a hole at the base. It is not quite circular at the base.

A complete probable Late Early Medieval lead alloy, harness fitting, probably a bridle-bit link, dating to c AD1000 - 1100. It is a plano convex bar with matching bevelled annular terminals with a thicker sub rectangular section mid way along the bar.

A complete lead alloy uniface token dating to the late medieval to post medieval period (1500-1700). The find is circular in plan with a slight bend across the centre. The concave side is decorated with a well-formed, eight pointed star. The other side is plain.
Dimensions: diameter: 18.3mm; thickness: 1.4mm; weight: 4.12g.
Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely.

A complete Medieval to Post Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl dating to c AD 900-1700. It is very roughly circular, with a central piercing, and has a plano-convex cross section. There is no decoration. The item has old damage and is no longer quite circular.

An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy impression of a coin of uncertain use. There is about one quarter missing to an early break. The obverse appears to show part of a head facing left and part of a legend [ ... ] D . G . Reverse is an undetermined motif. The impressions appear to be set into the flan as if a coin (uncertain which) has been used to create them. Part of the surface of the obverse is peeled back and flattened against the face of the coin. It would have been the surface of the section now missing.
