An incomplete Medieval mount or buckle plate, dating to c AD 1400 - 1700. The find is missing a loop or similar for attachment. The mount has a degree of wear and patination, and is decorated but the pattern is unclear. It is rectangular,  with straight attachment edge, rivet hole in each corner, slightly rounded at the outer edge where there is a crescentic break in the centre. The underside is undecorated. Dimensions: 31.8mm in length;  21.1mm in width; 1.6mm thick; 3.92g in weight

A fragment of a Medieval copper alloy probable Limoges enamelled plaque or possible mount, dating to c AD 1180-1200. Part of a champlevé enamel and gilded copper anthropomorphic representation of a saint, depicting the nimbate head of a clean shaven male figure, looking a little to his left. An incomplete medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating to c AD 1250-1400.  The buckle is trapezoidal in shape and is decorated with three lobed knops on the outer edges and centre of the front of the frame.  The central knop is larger and decorated with incised lines flaring out from the central pin rest.  At the opposite end there is evidence of the depressed markings created by the pin on the strap bar.  The pin is now missing. A medieval silver sesino of Galeazzo and Bernabo Visconti, Lords of Milan (1354-1378), issue without marks dating after AD1355, mint: Milan (Lombardy, Italy). Ref: Day et al 2016: p.449, pl. 35 nos 614-17. Approximately a quarter of the outer rim of the coin is missing, broken along the lineof the inner circle.  obverse: B G VICECOM[ITES];  'Visconti snake' (biscia) eating 'Saracen'.  reverse: MEDIOLANVM depicting a cross.  The coin appears to have been pierced, once directly through the centre, with a second, smaller hole just below.

A complete medieval copper alloy enamelled stud, with a possible wildman/wodewose design, dating to c. 1200-1400. It is a  barbed quatrefoil in plan with the barbs extending out of the centre of each of the four lobes, and a large shank attached to the rear.
