A Mesolithic or Neolithic perforated pebble hammer, probably dating to 9,000-2,400 BC. The object is ovate in plan, profile and cross section, with its thickest point at the perforation; the latter is centrally placed and drilled from both faces with convex sides. The pebble exhibits battering damage at either narrow end, although it is more significant at one than the other. The stone is of a purplish-red and is probably a quartzite. A Medieval copper alloy sexfoil mount, dating to AD 1200-1450. The mount consists of a central rounded sub-conical boss surrounded by six smaller hemispherical bosses, expanding from around its circumference. The reverse of the mount is hollow, with each individual boss having a concave reverse. There is a central perforation, retaining a separate copper alloy wire rivet. length 14.7mm; width 13.9mm; thickness 6.2mm; weight 0.78g. cf. Egan & Pritchard (1991: 191) nos. 1007, 1011.

An incomplete Medieval copper alloy single loop spur buckle with integral plate dating to c AD 1200 - 1450. The buckle consists of an oval frame with an expanded outer edge. An integral plate projects from behind the bar, tapering into an old break. The plate is perforated twice, once immediately behind the bar, to accommodate the pin, and once closer to the break. The outer edge is moulded into a transverse bar, divided into three by a pair of grooves. Length 22.0mm; Width 14.6mm; thickness 2.7mm; weight 2.16g. cf. Egan & Pritchard (1991: 79) nos. 320-321.

A medieval lead alloy seal matrix, probably dating to AD 1200-1350. The matrix is pointed oval or vessica shaped in plan, with a central rib along the reverse with the vestigial remains of a perforated lug at on end. The face of the seal is engraved with a depiction of a lion rampant, within the inscription (in retrograde): RICARD(I GAGGAL). Length 30.5mm; width 21.2mm; thickness 5.2mm; weight 10.34g. Crude lead personal seals with simple non-heraldic designs are thought to date to the 13th and early 14th centuries (Harvey & Mcguiness 1996: 79-80).
