A complete Post Medieval copper-alloy button dating to circa AD 1649-1660. It is circular in plan and domed, with a convex exterior and concave interior. From the centre of the reverse projects an integrally cast, D-shaped lug with central, circular perforation. The domed front face is unusually elaborate, containing the coat of arms of the Commonwealth comprising the shields England (St George) and Ireland (the Harp) placed next to one another. An incomplete copper alloy medieval oval buckle with integral plate. The frame is oval in shape and a small section of the plate survives projecting from the rear edge. There is a small circular hole through the inner edge of the plate where a simple copper-alloy pin remains in situ.  C.f. Egan and Pritchard 1991, 106-9, nos.482-7 from excavations in London, which were assigned to the early-13th century onwards and Griffiths et al. 2007, 104, nos.768-770 from Meols. A complete gold medieval gem-set finger ring. The bezel is oval in shape and holds an in situ dark blue gemstone setting. To either side of this there is a small wedge-shaped moulding, creating a stepped appearance in profile. The band is narrow and D-shaped in cross-section. This style dates to the 13th to 14th centuries (Egan and Pritchard 2002, 326. fig 215; Oman 1974, 18-20). A complete cast copper-alloy Iron Age brooch of the La Tene I, dating to c. 450-300 BC. It consists of a pointed oval bow, which extends upwards with a fragments of the integral spring; the lower end of the bow breaks before the foot. An incomplete copper-alloy Iron Age to Roman brooch of the Colchester Type, dating to AD 25-60. The head has two rectangular flat wings and a fragment of the forward facing hook, which protrudes from its top edge. The integrally cast spring survives only in three coils still in place. The bow is oval in cross-section and tapers towards the foot. The back face of the foot has traces of the catch plate; the foot is bent backwards in two points. An incomplete high-tin copper-alloy early post-medieval pilgrim badge, dating to AD 1450-1550. It is an octagonal plate with engrailed sides. The front face has an engraved design depicting a nimbed male figure, standing with his hands behind his back. Apart from a loincloth, the figure is naked; the body is pierced through by two arrows. On the left stands an archer, his bow drawn and his arrow pointing at the captive; at their feet there is a quiver full of arrows. A copper-alloy probably Iron Age to Roman suspension ring, dating to 200 BC - AD 100. The ring has an an oval cross-section, which has the outer edge slightly pointed and elongated. The inner edge has a raised border on both faces. It has a dull green patina. More elaborated examples have been found in warriors burials near the suspension loop of the scabbard, this has suggested that they have served as scabbard suspension rings. Cf HAMP-979EAA.
