A slightly chipped early-medieval gold tremissis of an anonymous 7th century ruler, dating to the period c.AD 640-660. Two emperors type probably dating, North (1994) No. 20, Metcalf no. 79-80. Obverse: Bust right wearing a pearled diadem and cuirass indicated by dots, legend mostly unclear or nonsense followed possiby by TIE. Reverse: No legend. Stylized figure of Victory enfolding the heads of two small busts. Very pale gold, almost silver in colour. This coin is in very good condition. Measurments: 12.48mm in diameter, 1.43mm thick and 1.26g in weight.
