A Post Medieval copper alloy half duit from the Low Countries, dating late 17th-early 18th century. The coin is very worn, particularly on the reverse. the obverse depicts a crowned shield with two lions passant within. The reverse has the inscription [W]EST // [F]RI // [SI]A. the date is no longer visible. Dimensions: diameter: 20.03 mm; weight: 1.52g.

A Post-Medieval copper coin of the Netherlands; a half Duit of Zeeland, probably dating from 1686. See number KM 55 on page 1120 of the Krause Standard Catalogue of World Coins, 17th century. The coin reads ZEE / LAN / DIA / [1]6(86) on the obverse, and shows a maiden sitting in a fence on the reverse, with the escutcheon of Zeeland, a rampant demi lion above water. Thickness: 0.95mm; Diameter: 18.1mm; Weight: 0.94g
