Complete lead or lead alloy whirligig toy, probably post-medieval, c. AD 1600 - 1900. This artefact comprises a broadly circular disc, with a central circular hole and 30 small radial rounded lobes forming a scallopped circumference. The disc has been folded approximately in half through the hole and has cracked along the fold.  It has a pale creamy brown surface.  It measures 26.4mm in diameter, 1.5mm thick and the hole is approximately 3- 4mm in diameter.  It weighs 8.3g. Complete copper alloy nummus of the Roman period, dating from 330 - 333 A.D., Reece period 17. The coin is a commemorative coin, minted at Constantinople in AD 330 - 3.  RIC VII, 63 Constantinople. The coin weighs 2.3g and is 19.4mm in diameter, 1.3mm thick. Obverse: Laureate, helmeted bust left, wearing Imperial cloak and holding sceptre over left shoulder.  Legend: CONSTAN/TINOPOLIS. An incomplete copper alloy and enamel finger ring, of which only the bezel survives, of Roman date, probably (c.AD200-300).  A pellet or circle at the centre of the ring is infilled with white enamel and is surrounded by further concentric circles, one of which has fragmentary (possible) upstanding copper alloy decoration. An incomplete, tin alloy whistle likely dated to the post-medieval or modern period (c. AD 1800-1900). The main body of the whistle is cylindrical in shape and hollow. The mouthpiece is molded and the other end is domed with a central hole. The body of the whistle is undecorated apart from a raised, circumferential ridge. There is a sub-rectangular aperture, now distorted, which allows the sound to escape. The object is mostly intact although here is damage to the domed end.
