An incomplete copper alloy brooch of Early Medieval date, dating to the 8th / early 9th century AD.  The plate is lozengiform and rectangular in cross section. One end is missing and the edges are damaged. The opposing complete end is pierced twice and has two rivets still in situ. The front is decorated with incised 'fretted' or 'Greek key' decoration. An incomplete copper-alloy rowel spur of Post-Medieval date, c.1600 – 1800AD. The spur consists of an ovate sectioned neck which splits to one end forming the rowel box. The rowel is now missing. The curved arms with a D-shaped section. Both arms have been bent and distorted, but each terminate with a pair of button-headed rivets. The spur has a mid-green patina and is worn.
