An incomplete copper alloy rowell spur dating to the post medieval (c.AD 1600-1750)
The remains of the spur is comprised of the rear half of each arm, the neck and rowel box with terminals are still surviving but the rowel itself is missing along with the side terminals. The arms are D-shape in cross-section and are at their widest point at the neck of the rowel box and gradually taper towards the missing terminals. A complete Post Medieval copper alloy posy ring dating from c. 1600 to 1700 AD.
The hoop is broadly circular in plan (it is slightly bent out of shape) and is shallow D-shaped in cross-section. There is a central vertical seam which stands proud of the rings surface. The inner face of the hoop is inscribed with the text: I LIVE IN LOVE, in Roman uppercase lettering. The terminal of the letter I splits into two curving serifs. There is no maker’s mark.
The ring has corrosion to its surface rendering it a dark reddish brown colour. There are no visible remains of silvering or gilding.

The ring is a memento mori ring with a flat bezel in the form of a central square, each side having a projecting semi-circular lobe engraved with a leaf, to form a quatrefoil design. The outer surface of the bezel square is engraved with a death’s head (a skull), inlaid with traces of white enamel, surrounded by the inscription: + Memento Mori, in small neat italic script. A complete enamelled copper alloy harness fitting (toggle or cheek-piece) of late Iron Age to early Roman date, broadly 1st century AD, but probably more specifically to around the Roman campaigning period in Wales (47-78AD), broadly c. 60-80AD (Davis and Gwilt 2008, pg.164). A copper alloy sub-rectangular buckle of Post-Medieval date, circa AD 1720-1790.
The buckle frame is sub-rectangular in plan with rounded corners. The separate drilled spindle, chape and pin are missing. Both faces are undecorated. The buckle curves upwards in the centre.
It measures 32.6 mm in length, 28.8 mm wide and 3.7 mm thick. It weighs 2.9 g.
The buckle has a mid green colour surface patina. Abrasion in the plough soil has resulted in the loss of detail.

An incomplete Early Bronze Age cast copper alloy flat axe of undeterminable type, dating from c. 2200 to 1800 BC.
The axe is incomplete due to surface loss. It has a surviving length of 76.79mm. The blade end is crescentric in shape, it has a surviving blade width of 44.79mm. From the blade, the body of the axe narrows in shape, and terminates in a rounded butt. The axe is broadly lenticular when viewed in profile, although heavy corrosion has altered its shape.

A complete worn annular glass bead of unknown date.
The globular annular bead is slightly bi-conical and irregular in form. The perforation (4.86mm in diameter at widest point); is predominantly circular but with a straight edge (2.21mm long) on one side. The glass is opaque and pale blue and appears speckled as the matrix is full of bubbles, the outside surfaces pitted with occasional voids from larger bubbles. The surfaces are worn.

An incomplete copper alloy trumpet brooch of Roman date (c.75-175). Mackreth (2011:85) No 5212, type 1.3a2. The Brooch has a rounded head, on the reverse is which is where the pin would have been attached, all that remains of this is a sub rectangular projection. The curved bow projects downwards from the rounded head and has three raised bands, the largest of which being the central band. Below the lowest band there is a break. The brooch has developed a green patina.
