An incomplete and warped cast copper-alloy Colchester derivative, one piece brooch of late Iron Age or early Roman date, likely c.15 BC - AD63. Description:The brooch has a pair of short roughly rectangular wings flanking a central loop for a copper-alloy spring and an a continuous axis bar fitting into a further forward-pointing loop immediately above the head folded over onto the point between the wings. A possible flint hollow or coarse scraper of likely of late prehistoric date c 2200-1 BC. Description: The scraper is made from a highly patinated tertiary flake triangular in plan. The bulb of percussion isn't clear but otherwise conchoidal rippling is clear. There is a distinct hinge fracture at one end.. The hollow scraping edge is short and formed from short scaled semi-abrupt retouch and barely extends past the hollow. A coarse flint scraper of uncertain date, likely Late Bronze age to Iron Age in date (c. 1200-1 BC). Description: The scraper is very roughly tirangular but irregular and dog-legs in cross section. It is formed from a secondary flake, with a obscured striking platform at the proximal end. The conchoidal rippling is very distinct indicating its production though hard hammer technology, this is particularly noticeable around the heavily fractured bulb of percussion. An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy disc brooch (c. 450-550 AD). Description: The brooch is flat and circular with some minor abrasion along the edges. On the front there is a large incised ring-and-dot motif, at the centre there is two concentric circles with a central indentation and towards the outer edges three concentric incsied circles.
