Silver penny of John. Short cross coinage type 5b. The mint name is unclear. It appears to read LVN but the moneyer RAVF which is readable on the reverse inscription is not associated with this mint according to North. Other possible readings are LVIN and WIN.

Furniture or vessel cast copper alloy drop handle. The object probably dates from the late medieval to the early post-medieval period. The shank of the object is rectangular in section with a perforation at one end. At the opposite end of the perforation the object terminates with a truncated conical shape, the narrow end of the cone being the part that meets the shank. The flat base of the truncated cone is slightly concave with a cylindrical knop protruding from it.
