Cast copper alloy Roman finger ring with a hoop that is D-shaped in section and in profile, with a flat sub-rectangular bezel. The bezel is decorated with a raised figure of Mars, helmeted, with a spear in his right hand and resting on a shield to the right with his left hand, all within a raised oval border. The ring shows considerable corrosion with and overall brown-green patina and some loss of detail on the shoulder obscuring the figures head. The bezel is 12mm long and 6.6mm wide and 1.3 mm thick. A post medieval silver sixpence of Charles I (1625-49), Group E, fifth bust (North 2242), initial mark: tun (dating to 1636-38), mint: Tower of London (under Charles I). Ref: North 1991: p. 161.
The coin is worn and clipped with a dark mark in the middle of the obverse field which may be an attempt to pierce the coin, although it is uncertain (from the image). The coin also shows evidence of having been double struck with two impressions of the inner circle in places on the obverse.

An incomplete probable copper-alloy tanged chisel, or trunnion tool, likely dating to the Middle Bronze Age (c.1500-1150 cal BC). It has a light green-grey patina.
It probably belongs to the metalworking tradition phase VIII - IX, which corresponds to Needham's (1996) Period 5; circa 1500-1150 cal. BC.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy strap fitting, probably a toggle clasp, dating to the early Post-Medieval period (c.AD. 1500-1700). Read’s Unclassified Toggle-Clasp Type 7.
The fitting comprises a one-piece, D-sectioned plate with the reverse being convex. It has moulded relief decoration in the form of bulbous transverse ridges. A sherd of 'Trevisker Ware' or Grooved Ware pottery dating from the Neolithic - Middle Bronze Age (c.1600-1200 BC).
The sherd is sub-rectangular in form and has been broken into two pieces. The fabric is gabbroic (clay that weathers over the gabbro stone on the Lizard) with inclusions of pale feldspar, dark augite and mica. The colour of the fabric is a light brown interior to more burnt exterior suggesting it has been fired at a high temperature.

A Medieval handle-sherd, it is a strap handle of a jug or cistern, probably dating from AD 1100 - 1500. The fabric is fairly soft, has a fine texture, and is mid red-brown throughout. There are frequent, well-dispersed quartz inclusions. The handle is D-shaped in cross-section, with the inner face curved and the outer face fluted.

Probable post-Medieval body-sherd, with a green glaze. Grey reduced fabric with a pale green internal glaze. There is with a slight raised ridge and concave surface on either side when viewed on its profile. It may perhaps even be late-Medieval in date, but an earlier post-Medieval date seems fitting.

An assemblage of four Medieval pot-sherds. The assemblage includes a strap handle from a jug/cistern, and three body-sherds; all dating from the 14th-15th centuries. South West Micaceous Ware, which was usually made locally, all four sherds appear to be from the same vessel.
