A likely flint tester pebble with strike scars dating to the later Mesolithic to Neolithic (c. 8000-3300 BC). The pebble is made from a dark grey flint. Two sides present multiple flake scars and a wide ring of cortex covers the circumferential centre. The pebble liekly functioned as a tester core. A small flint core probably of Mesolithic date to Early Neolithic date (c. 8000 - 3300 BC). The object is made from a dark-grey/dark-brown translucent flint. The surface of the flint is very clear and is not covered by any white patina associated with recortication. However, there is an area of cortex remaining on the flint. A large flint blade core of later mesolithic date with a single striking platform, struck from a dark brown flint. The core is triangular in shape with parallel removal scars around half of its circumference. A patch of grey-brown cortex remains down one side. The other has a single large removal scar with battering damage and small flaked removals around the edge, running off it one side perpendicular to the striking platform and partially overlying it. This suggests a secondary use for the core, possibly as a hammer.
