An incomplete copper-alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) sleeve clasp catch-element. A complete early medieval silver penny of Æthelstan I of East Anglia (c.825-c.845), without bust, moneyer: Torhthelm (Naismith E40.1var; North 440), mint: East Anglia (Ipswich?) dating to the period c.AD830-837/8.  The coin appears to have been struck from the same dies as EMC 2018.0046.
