A cast lead spindle whorl of probable early medieval date, AD 500 - 850. It is “D” shaped in cross-section, having one flat face and one rounded face. The perforation is tapered, top diameter: 6.5mm, bottom diameter: 9.5mm. None of the surfaces are decorated and all have a thick cream/brown patina. Dimensions, diameter: 19.5mm, thickness: 9.65mm, weight: 14.93g. Walton Rogers Form A1. Similar: SWYOR-7999B1.

The incomplete head of an Early Medieval gilded copper alloy disc-headed pin, dating to c. AD 570 - 620. Description: The disc is flat and approximately circular, due to more than half of the original circumference missing. Treasure Case 2021 T980 Description: An incomplete silver ingot dating to the early medieval period (c.AD 850-1100). The object is sub-rectangular in plan (‘cigar’) with a roughly circular or sub-triangular section. One terminal end has a rounded edge whilst the other is cut/broken. The surface is covered in what appears to be hammer marks or wear, and a number of small cuts or nicks may be present on the object. An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) cast copper-alloy harness bit link dating AD 1000-1100. The surviving loop is sub-D-sectioned with a bevelled inside edge on the underside. A D-sectioned arm projects from one side and extends into a boss. Beyond the boss are the broken bifurcated sub-rectangular arms of another loop with angled edges. The breaks are old and worn.
