An incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup terminal of late Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon/Anglo-Scandinavian) date. The terminal has a hollow back that is semi-cylindrical in form and missing part of its attachment end due to old breaks. This contains traces of a white substance, probably used to solder the terminal to the now missing stirrup and is closed at the base. An incomplete early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) radiate-head brooch dating to AD 500-570. The base of the foot and pin are missing; but is otherwise complete. The head is broadly cruciform in plan, with a semi-circular head plate and three semi-cylindrical projections. Middle Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy pin with globular head and an integral collared shaft. The shaft is bent once (around 70-80 degrees) and may be complete. It measures approximately 42mm from the collar at base of the head to the tapering but blunt tip. The head is almost entirely covered with punched ring-and-dot impressions. A fragment of a copper-alloy Girdle Hanger or symbolic key dating to the Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) period, c. 480-570AD. The bottom of the shaft and part of E-shaped terminal are preserved. It is decorated with transverse grooves and ring and dot motif. It is a Felder type B2f, inclined upward closed terminal frame with plain prong ends.  This is an Early Anglo-Saxon girdle hanger, an object typically found in burial contexts associated with women.
