A copper alloy contemporary copy of a voided long cross silver penny of Henry III (AD 1216-72), probably copying a penny of London mint of Class V onwards (AD 1251-1272). The lettering on both faces is crude and due to the condition of the coin is mostly unreadable. Nonsensical legends are sometimes seen on contemporary copies. No silver plating remains.

A contemporary copper-alloy copy of a Medieval voided long cross penny, probably of Henry III, c.1247-1272 AD. The obverse type apears to have no sceptre, whcih might indicate it is copying a coin of Classes I-III, but this is uncertain due to the preservation of the object. For contemporary copies of this type see Wren, 1993: pp. 68-69.
