A complete and worn silver finger ring of Post Medieval to modern date, circa AD 1723-2000.
The ring, circular in cross-section, comprises of a circular hoop which expands smoothly to form an oval-shaped bezel. The exterior of the ring is smooth and undecorated, but small wear marks are visible on the surface.

This identifies the coin as Wren type 5b2 (1992, p. 53), North number 970 (1994, p. 221). Moneyer Pieres of Durham.
