An incomplete, worn and corroded early medieval silver early penny (sceat) of Primary Phase Series A3 (bmc type 2a; Naismith Series Ac), dating c. AD670-90. Ref: Naismith 2017: table 4, figure 5, pl. 2 nos 35-41; Gannon 2013: 100.
The coin is in poor condition, the flan abraded and appearing to be slightly chipped. The surface appears corroded.
