An incomplete, slightly clipped, silver siliqua, probably of Theodosius I (AD 379-95), dating to AD 379-83 (Reece Period 20), VIRTVS ROMANORVM, Roma seated facing, holding Victory on globe and spear. Mint unclear, but probably Trier. RIC IX, pp. 25 and 29, cf. nos. 58b and 84a; Hoxne p. 141, cf. no. 435.. Some of this is now missing. The diameter is 14.5mm and it weighs 0.9g.

VIRTVS RO-MANORVM reverse type depicting Victory seated, holding Victory on globe and spear. Mint of Trier. As Hoxne no. 518; RIC IX, p. 29, no. 84b. There is a small hairline fracture on obverse extends from bottom edge of coin to the centre.

A clipped silver Roman siliqua from the House of Theodosius, dating to the period AD 379-402 (Reece Period 20-21). The obverse shows a diademed bust right. The reverse type is uncertain but depicts Roma draped, seated left holding Victory on globe in the right hand and a spear in the left. Possibly VRBS ROMA. Uncertain mint. The coin has been heavily clipped and there is also some flan loss through corrosion. Diameter 11.95mm, weight 0.84g.

An incomplete silver siliqua of Gratian (AD 367-383), dating to AD 378-83 (Reece Period 20). Reverse; VIRTVS ROMANORVM, Roma seated facing on throne, holding reversed spear in left hand and globe in right hand.
Several mints (Aquileia, Lyon, and Trier) produced siliquae of this type for Gratian with mint marks ending [...]PS. the style and reverse type of the current coin in comparison with examples in the British Museum collection suggests it is likely to be from the Aquileia mint rather than Trier or Lyon.
