A Post Medieval silver sixpence re-used as a 'love token' dating to c.1660-1760. Purposefully abraded and bent on opposite sides to form a shallow S- shaped profile. The obverse is entirely illegible, but the reverse still displays a part of the cruciform of crowned shields enabling dating of the coin. No marks or letters present, so possibly uncompleted. Diameter 20.4mm, thickness 0.7mm, weight 2g. Similar examples on this database at: PUBLIC-2AC9EC, BERK-7255A2 and BERK-6FCB55.

The coin has a very slight bend and is not uniform in shape missing some of the legend.
