A British Iron Age Eastern silver unit of AGR and Cunobelin, c. AD 35-43. The coin is of the type ABC (Cottam et al 2010) 3005. It features the letters AGR on the obverse and reverse and can be related to ABC 2891 = VA (Van Arsdell 1989) 2069 with the same designs but the inscriptions CAM/CVN (for Cunobelin).   Obverse - AGR within wreath.  Reverse - Female dog standing on a snake with both front paws. An Iron age Silver unit of the Southern Region / Atrebates and Regini, dating to the period c.20 BC-AD 10, Tincomarus Cross Lion type. Obverse: Cross with central pellet, TINC in the angles of the cross. Reverse: Lion left, bucranium below. ABC p. 69, no. 1124. The apparent double cross on the obverse type is likely the result of the coin being mis-struck or more plausibly a re-engraved die.
