A complete but broken post-Medieval silver or billon 6-Stuiver piece (rijderschelling) from the City of Deventer in the province of Overijssel in the Netherlands. Dated 1681 on coin. Mintmark unclear but possibly a sitting dog. Obverse: MO.NO.ARG.CIV.DAVENTRIA [16]81, Crowned arms with value 6 S at sides (unclear date above). Reverse: CONCORDIA.RES.PARV.CRESCVNT, Knight with sword on horseback right. Diameter: 27.0mm. Weight: 3.71g. DA=12:3.

Silver coin. John Naylor kindly identifies this as a hammered six stuivers (Ridjerschelling) of the Dutch city of Deventer. He kindly cites NMS-FAD5F5, which ios dated to 1684, as a parallel. Obverse description: Armoured horseman brandishing sword cantering right. Obverse inscription: CONCORDIA R[?ESTA?] RV[-]CRESCVNT Reverse description: Crowned straight-sided heraldic shield with blazon of a spread eagle facing left; shield flanked by numerals: 6 8.
