TREASURE CASE : 2022 T925. Description:  An incomplete silver annular brooch pin of Medieval date, c.AD 1200-1400. The shaft of the pin is triangular in plan and ovate in cross-section. The terminal of the pin tapers to a flattened end where it would have rested on the brooch frame proper. An expanded rectangular collar is present at the junction between the shaft and what remains of the loop. Only a small part of the loop remains, with both sides ending in a blunt breaks. A complete gilded silver dress hook of sixteenth century AD dating (AD 1500 to AD 1600). The dress hook has a single sharp pointed hook attached to the reverse of the plate. The hook has an 180 degree bend at the half way point. The plate is rectangular with circular knops on each corner and two circular knops on each side in between. There is a row of raised pellets around the edge of the plate, surrounding a central raised rectangular area with a probable enameled area in the centre. The attachment loop is an integal rectangular loop It measures 22.8 mm in length, 13.7 mm
