2006 T109 "A Medieval strap-end, with a tongue-shaped terminal. The attachment end is elaborated into a stylised vegetal form, with two tear-shaped cut-outs on either side of a slender stem. The rivet, which would have originally held the leather in place, survives. The strap-end is silver and dates from the 14th century. Dimensions: length 23.12 mm, width 11.72 mm. In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
