Silver seal matrix. An oval matrix bears the finely incised curvilinear motif or monogram – a letter W or G might be present, though this reporter would defer to a better-informed reading. It proved impossible to obtain a clear imprint in modelling clay. The matrix is set on the underside of an oval with an integrally cast circular base to a collared handle above it.
