A copper alloy Roman coin; a nummus of Constans (333 - 350), VICTORAE DD AVGGQ NN type minted in Siscia in 347 - 348. The coin is in very good condition. It has a diameter of 16.3mm and is 1.34mm thick. It weighs 1.29g. The mint mark is HR in the field and ASIS in the exergue. For reference see Roman Imperial Coinage Volume VIII, page 363, number 192.

Coppper alloy nummus of Gratian (367-383 AD) with a reverse showing the emperor dragging a captive. The coin was minted at Siscia, although coins of this mint do occur in Britain, they are much less common finds than those from the western mints in this period.
