An incomplete and corroded copper-alloy Roman nummus of Licinius I (AD 308-324), possibly a contemporary copy, dating to the period c.AD 319-320 (Reece Period 16). VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP reverse type depicting Two Victories standing facing one another, holding a shield inscribed VOT/P R, an altar below. Mint of Lyon. cf. RIC VII, p. 127, nos. 69-70.
Diameter 17mm, thickness 1.86mm, weight 1.75g.

A worn copper-alloy Roman nummus Licinius I (AD 308-324), probably dating to the period AD 316 (Reece period 15). GENIO POP ROM reverse type depicting Genius turreted standing left, draped with himation, patera in right hand and cornucopiae in left. Mint of Trier. Cf. RIC VII, p. 173, no. 121.
The coin measures 17.72 mm in diameter and weighs 1.95 g. The coin has small areas of damage by chipping, perhaps by later plough-rolling, most visible seen from the obverse at 10 o'clock, 2 o'clock and 6 o'clock, though these largely avoid the legend.
